Higher Degree Recruit (“HDR,” “we,” “us”) provides recruiting education, guidance, and planning services to student-athletes and their families. By using this website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
This site and our services are intended for parents and legal guardians. Memberships, evaluations, and consultations must be purchased and enrolled by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 or older. Athletes under 18 may use the site and tools only with their parent’s or guardian’s permission, and a parent or legal guardian must participate in all services provided to athletes under 18. Children under 13 should not submit any personal information through this site — forms that collect contact information are for parents.
HDR does not and cannot guarantee any specific outcome. This includes, without limitation: athletic or academic scholarships, scholarship amounts, recruitment by any college program, roster spots, playing time, admission to any school, financial aid awards, or professional opportunities.
Recruiting decisions are made solely by college coaches, athletic departments, and admissions offices. Outcomes depend on many factors outside anyone’s control, including athletic performance, academics, roster needs, injuries, and coaching changes. Our role is to educate, prepare, and guide—not to promise results. Any testimonial or success story on this site reflects an individual experience and is not a promise of similar results.
Everything HDR provides — memberships, evaluations, consultations, calculators, worksheets, and every page of this site — is educational guidance based on publicly available information and our own experience. It is not legal, financial, tax, or academic advice, and it is not an eligibility ruling. Only the NCAA Eligibility Center certifies eligibility; only your school’s counselor certifies your transcript; only a college’s financial aid office determines your aid. Recruiting outcomes depend on factors outside anyone’s control, and HDR makes no promise of recruitment, offers, scholarships, or admission. Families should verify time-sensitive rules (contact dates, eligibility standards, aid terms) against the official source before acting, and consult a qualified professional for legal, tax, or financial decisions.
NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and individual school rules change frequently. While we work to keep our guidance current, the athlete and family are responsible for verifying eligibility requirements, recruiting rules, and deadlines with the relevant governing body and schools. HDR is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, or any college or university.
Membership plans are billed monthly and may be canceled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and plan features may change with notice. Services are provided for the enrolled athlete and family only and may not be resold or shared.
Our guidance only works when acted on. Families are responsible for providing accurate information (grades, film, measurables), completing recommended steps, meeting deadlines, and maintaining academic eligibility. A parent or legal guardian must participate in all services provided to athletes under 18.
All content on this site—guides, timelines, tools, templates, and branding—belongs to HDR and is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Content may not be copied, republished, or redistributed without written permission. Information on this site may contain errors or become outdated; it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HDR’s total liability for any claim arising from our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid to HDR in the twelve months before the claim. HDR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost scholarship opportunities or costs incurred pursuing recruitment (travel, camps, showcases, equipment).
By submitting your email or phone number, you agree to receive communications from HDR related to our services, including newsletters and reminders. You may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell your personal information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Questions? Contact us at randy@higherdegreerecruit.com or (865) 696-0559.
