THE TRANSCRIPT STARTS
9TH GRADE
Freshman year is quiet on recruiting and loud on eligibility. Almost nothing that happens athletically this year will be remembered by a college coach, and almost everything that happens academically will follow your athlete for four years. Grades earned now cannot be re-earned later, core courses start counting immediately, and the study habit that carries a junior through a recruiting year has to already exist before the recruiting year starts.
