The NCAA only counts the sixteen core courses — and only those grades. Enter where the core GPA stands today and this shows where it lands, and exactly what the remaining classes need to average to stay eligible for D1 and D2.
A core unit is one full year of an NCAA-approved core course. Your counselor can pull the exact completed count and core GPA from the transcript — use those numbers, not the overall GPA.
Reminder: D1 requires a 2.3 core GPA and D2 a 2.2 — but eligibility is the floor, not the goal. Every tenth of a point above it opens academic money that stacks with athletic aid. Check course-by-course status in the Core Course Check.
