The Middle School Plan

Grades 6, 7, and 8 — Year by Year

These three years are for building the foundation: development, the grade habit, and two things that carry real money: the spending decisions you are about to make, and starting the college savings clock while it still has time to work. This document is one page per grade, plus the handoff into ninth grade. Work one year at a time and ignore the rest.

This is education, not investment, tax, or legal advice. We do not sell financial products and take no commissions. Confirm eligibility questions with your school counselor and the NCAA Eligibility Center.

THE HANDOFF
SUMMER BEFORE 9TH GRADE

Four things, done over one summer, put your athlete ahead of nearly everyone in their class — not athletically, procedurally.

The five sentences that should end a sales conversation.
“{{ f }}”

All five are aimed at fear, and all five are aimed at parents of athletes too young to be recruited. If you hear one, you are talking to someone selling access, not advice.

Members get one written spend review a month — a travel team, a camp, a trainer, a showcase — with a yes or no and the reasoning behind it, before the money leaves. Use worksheet F2 to gather the numbers first. Call (865) 696-0559 or visit HigherDegreeRecruit.com.
